Home Gardener and Cidermaker
For the last four years I have been building and maintaining a home garden in Chicago with my partner, Jayne. We built several raised brick garden beds in which we have grown organic produce for ourselves and our loved ones. This year we have added a "Three Sisters" garden to grow corn, beans, and squash as well as a hot composting system to recycle food waste. We also seek out local apples to pick and process into juice and cider. Our goal is to promote sustainable agriculture and consume healthier local foods.
