I have been supervising for over 15 years and in the last six years, I have been involved in procurement from an inventory standpoint and a buyer standpoint. Most of my background is in production management, and I am slowly guiding myself towards more procurement opportunities.
Storeroom manager/buyer
I Control the unfinished goods inventory for the plant, over $50 million worth. I control everything that is needed to produce the finish goods for the company. I have also been training to be a buyer for a few years now and am the emergency backup buyer for my plant. I have 10 years experience in SAP.
Maintenance supervisor
I ran the maintenance crew for Morton salt for a year. The maintenance crew consisted of electricians millwright and pipe fitters.
Rotational supervisor
I worked the off shifts, second and third, and ran the production crew throughout those shifts. I would ensure that we were making production goals and documented everything on a Microsoft Word document to explain to the morning crew.
Team leader
I ran the logistics team and the flow team for Target. I would lead the team to push all of the merchandise to the floor and when done would make sure everything was scanned and inventory controlled in the back room.
I was security for Target, undercover. I will control all the assets in the store and even work with local police department to hold people accountable.
I ran a team of more than 30 employees to unload cans from an airplane into the system, and then later on load or reload parcels into the can to be put on the airplane. I worked at the main hub in Louisville Kentucky very fast paced.
