- Served as a manager on a team of 13 highly energized developers. As part of my role as a manager I was not only responsible for personnel management but also working on technical solutions as well.

- Started the python framework for Ptolemy a data prep package that containerizes data sets for placement on the Filecoin network.

- Serving as customer liaison to help capture new customers through sales campaigns along with providing full proof of concept support to customers to validate Filecoin as a valid storage medium.

- Served as a speaker at a variety of events (ESPA, Twitter Spaces and others) as a brand representative to educate a variety of stakeholders on the Filecoin network.

- Driving business processes and activities, established decentralized test paradigm for network storage providers and other technical artifacts.

- Responsible for assisting network Storage Providers with hardware, architecture and software recommendations.

- Create meaningful client facing and educational artifacts for the Filecoin community to assist Storage Providers in the bootstrapping process.

- Served as a speaker at several engagements promoting Filecoin and educating Service Providers on sales motions, use cases, go to market and even providing technical guidance.

- Handle customer engagement process and aligning customers with Storage Providers that can deliver sufficient services. Managed over 1,000 CRM entries and cultivated sales cycles while performing other key tasks.

- Responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of over. a dozen customers in the Southeastern United States

- Assisted support team in solving complex and challenging technical issues at a variety of customer accounts.

- Produced training material and sales artifacts to assist with the marketing and sales of Cloudian Hyperstore.

- Responsible for the sale and deployment of large (20+ PiB) and small (sub 200 TiB) deployments and expansions across a variety of customer types.

- Wrote several client utilities in python to assist with data migration and management challenges.

- Working with sales teams on proposing and deploying complex solutions for Western Digital customers for various applications & use cases.

- Developed technical documentation used by engineers in the fields to support customers and deploy solutions.

- Provided technical marketing materials to marketing team to assist with go to market activities as new products entered the sales pipeline.

- Amplidata was acquired by HGST and in turn my role was moved under the WD/HGST system engineering team. In this role I still maintained the Southeast and Federal customer base.

- Specialized in object storage and specifically on the active archive storage component of the customer data lifecycle while supporting things like flash and SSD based technologies.

- Met 100% of sales quota multiple quarters while deploying solutions for customers in media & entertainment, life sciences and government.

- Trained previously existing WD/HGST employees on Amplidata product and also sales tactics and messaging.

- Engineering support for US based sales staff, my key areas on responsibility were the Southeast US and Federal customers.

- Demonstration of core and integrated Amplidata technologies during proof of concept activities or technology bake-offs

- Designing systems for various enterprises for SAN, NAS and HPC environments. System specifications being examined and placed into action at various enterprises including Venturdyne, Sandia National Labs and various educational facilities.

- Working on new cloud based architectures for small-large enterprises. This included solutions for compute and storage with an emphasis on storage architectures.

- Development of system and H/W architecture for an advanced simulation installation at LM Aero in Marietta GA.

- Constructed high performance Linux storage appliance for simulation audio and video recording capability as well as block services support for diskless entities. Appliance utilized primarily NFS was also integrated with Avere Edge Filer to achieve a high performance, load balanced and fault tolerant global filesystem for use in record and playback activities in Advanced Combat Simulation laboratory. Appliance was constructed to scale up to 200+ TBs of storage and beyond in a RAID5 with two hot spare disks per storage array.

- Developed H/W architecture suitable to replace VME based flight simulation chassis. Developed intense PCI based solution backed by commodity Supermicro H/W saving thousands of dollars in deployment costs.

- Development of real-time Java and C++ modules for Common Operating Runtime Environment S/W suite.

- Development and maintenance of Solaris 8 containers for legacy S/W suite.

- Produced Java based tool for source code counting for metrics team.

- Development of custom SuSE installation media for use by multiple simulation platforms. Included creation of specialized linux packages and installation media to support streamlined OS installation along with installation of custom packages.

- Created network installation server to support system deployments for various classified areas.

- Performed trade study for high performance storage alternatives including various arrays and netapp architectures.

- Established iSCSI diskless solution for SLES 11 workstations booting from iSCSI target server.

- Evaluated and configured SSO solutions such as Quest and Likewise.

- Configured and tested rudimentary Infiniband network using legacy hardware for benchmarking and storage alternative evaluations.

- Worked diligently with vendors to obtain and test evaluation hardware from large scale vendors like NetApp, EMC, Oracle, Avere and others to select appropriate storage candidate to support SimSIL lab activities.

- Built multifaceted target system managing Fiber Channel, iSCSI, SRP and other targets for CentOS platform. Provided mixed storage architecture utilizing LSI, Mellanox, Intel and QLogic H/W offerings.

- Manually developed an Infiniband solution for the 3.4 Linux kernel producing extremely fast data paths and block devices for high performance computing storage hardware.

- Constructed NFS server handling data streams at approximately 1+ GB/s using NFS over RDMA on Romley based architecture.

- Served as Systems Architect and Integration specialist for Hardware and Software architectures at Lockheed Martin MS2 Liverpool. My primary charter was integrating and assisting in the deployment of the latest iteration of the SQQ-89 sonar system.

- Development and maintenance of custom Fedora installation suite accounting for base operating system, COTS support packages and base resource management suite.

- Development and maintenance of custom Red Hat Enterprise Linux installation suite accounting for base operating system, COTS support packages and base resource management suite.

- Maintained and developed custom operating system image maintenance platform for expansion of program specific installation media.

- Configured, diagramed and implemented high speed internal network for various tactical systems in lab environment including Cisco/Marconi switch networks using Gigabit and 10 Gigabit fiber links.

- Finalized high availability NFS services after debugging various runtime issues in tactical system. Also debugged and implemented NFS in various live system configurations.

- Oversaw development activities for the software team that was developing a resource management suite for a foreign national customer. A seven man team of highly motivated developers formed the core group that was managed.

- Served as a technical lead for a program paired with a foreign national customer. Included scope negotiation with customer along with management of subcontractors and oversight of various engineering disciplines for the program.

- Responsible for maintenance and modification for four legacy applications for Electronic Warfare system. Two applications were developed in Ada95 the other two in C++.

- Provided assistance to proposal teams for cost estimation and schedule development.

- Served as RI for MEADS Utility team assisting in planning efforts and schedule development.

- Design and development of real time database interfaces for SQQ-89 naval software suite. This activity required knowledge of the following languages:

Ada95, Java, C++, OMG IDL, C and others

- Assisted with S/W test and integration activities for the real time database manager, this included working with the integration team on full scale integration and test of the SQQ-89 software suite and all the corresponding components.
