Joined a brand-new team within the company focused on automating a cutting-edge, largest-of-its-kind factory. Worked hand in hand with the engineering team and system integrators to initialize various robotic systems. Designed fixtures to enable safe and speedy maintenance, then led a team to build and test. Authored documents to create a safe and effective maintenance program. Coordinated with other departments within the company to create a smooth and effective system, improve the overall quality of the product, and ensure a safe environment for all employees.

Lead team of structures mechanics in safe and timely completion of scheduled maintenance visits of customer aircraft. Coordinate and schedule work with multiple skill groups to optimize efficient work flow. Research part availability and effectivity, provide engineering support, and work closely with quality control team to ensure my crew is always set up for success.

Fabricate and install structural components for avionics installs. Communicate with and assist Aircraft Engineers in the development of structural repair solutions and modifications for new avionics installations. Assist with fabrication and installation of wiring harnesses and other avionics components. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.

Fabricate parts and assemblies and installed on the aircraft. Inspect and repair structural components. Follow all applicable specifications as outlined in aircraft technical manuals and company policies to accomplish a specific task. Execute all required paperwork in connection with assigned normal duties.

Repair / rebuild engine baffling sets. Treat and paint metal surfaces and parts. Remove and install engines. Remove and replace interiors. Replace airframe components.

Fabricate or repair parts as needed. Strip, prime and paint aircraft. Determine priority of jobs on the flightline. Maintain tool and benchstock inventory. Responsible for three squadrons of F-16s.
