• Operated hand and power tools to complete repairs. Maintained all refrigeration equipment, walk in freezers and coolers, up rights, sandwich stations and salad coolers. Also maintained stoves ,ovens ,fryers, and warming cabinets. Was sent for training on Henny Penny fryers and frosty machine makers , I am certified on both. Also work on minor electrical equipment and minor plumbing issues as needed.

Maintained building equipment, dispatched all work orders to maintenance technicians. Worked directly with Director of maintenance and his assistant. I coordinated the outside contractors on building projects, reported directly to the GM of the hotel. I was the Chairman of the Employee Committee for hotel improvement.

• Maintain daily function of equipment in building. Kept appliances in working order and monthly inventory of tools and materials up to date. Equipment maintained in the building consi of boilers, water pumps, water heaters, Semco Unit, pool pumps, washer and dryer, ice machines, chillers, refrigerators and ovens.

• In charge of start and finish of all projects. Made sure all materials needed for the project was on site for the painters. Kept clients up to date on the progress of the work and any changes needed to be made. Kept payroll for the crews.

• Installed pipes and tubing in Navy ships. Installed different size pipes as specified by blue prints issued by Navy Engineers. Assisted 1st and 2nd Class fitters when needed. Also includes welding, soldering, cutting of different types of metals.

• Terminated Fiber Optics and copper lines for Union Carbide , in Louisiana and West Virginia.
