- I graduated from the City of New York Police Academy in October 1997 and assigned to the Queens South 106 precinct starting on patrol but soon joined the precinct youth services unit assigned to schools in the area.
- In which I had to keep records of truants in the precinct area as well as juveniles that were arrested by officers or who live in the precinct area making visits to their homes to follow up with the parents.
- In January 2004 I was reassigned to the NYPD school safety division, and work in what were called impact school which had high levels of criminal activity in them to improve the safety of the schools and protection of the students and school staff.
- During this time I was also part of the protection detail of the Republican National convention which was held at Madison Square Garden.
- In May 2006 I was reassigned to the Real Time Crime Center Juvenile Desk conducting background checks of arrested juveniles and assisting patrol officers and school safety agents of Juvenile arrest process.
