Willis Glassgow is an award-winning photographer with over 35 years of experience in the industry. He currently serves as the campus photographer at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Besides his work in photography, he has help found two separate student organizations and currently serves as their advisor. Willis also founded and managed WG Sports Photos, a sports photography agency that specialized in covering events for universities and media outlets nationwide. His diverse experience also includes photojournalism in conflict zones, where he served as a foreign correspondent during the conflict in former Yugoslavia in 1994-5. He holds both a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Arizona State University and a Master of Science in International Relations from Troy University in Troy, AL.

Performs various styles and genres of photography, including, commencements, ceremonies, conferences, headshots, alumni portraits, athletic media and athletic sporting events for all of UNCP sports.
Started UNCP Student Photography Department in 2015 with a single volunteer student and since has grown to an eight-member cohesive student team, A comprehensive program where students received training in editing, archiving, and organizing digital photography files using industry-standard software, including Adobe Photoshop and Photo Mechanic. Through this program, students learned how to cover various campus events, including NCAA athletic competitions, and conducted independent photoshoots to create personal branding content.
