• Led project to completely overhaul a legacy phone system by implementing a Cisco VoIP phone solution. This includes implementing a proof of concept of single facility SIP connection, one of the first in HCA. The implementation plan we developed in partnership with our division telecom team is not being rolled out to other facilities in the division including Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
• Doubled the number of network connected devices in the hospital, from500 devices to just over1000 devices, while maintaining the same let of staffing and level of support. Some of the new technologies added at Mountain View Hospital in the last2 years; Welch Allyn Spot monitoring, upgrade of nurse call system, speech recognition, EBCD, Bed Management, Computrition, Pyxis upgrade, security system update including implementation of badge readers and cameras.
• Chosen as one of10 members of the Nuance PowerShare Advisory Board, a hand-picked, nationwide group formed by Nuance to make effective developments to Nuance PowerShare product.
• Planned and delivered the Powerscribe360 project for the HCA Mountain Division, a10 month long project which required coordination with administrators, staff and84 physicians spread over11 hospitals and imaging centers and3 radiology reading groups. The project finished on time and on budget, with great physician satisfaction.
