Adept Tire Technician with a proven track record at Big O Tires, showcasing expertise in tire installation, repair, and balancing. Demonstrated leadership by training new hires within four weeks of joining. Excelling in customer interaction and teamwork, I bring a unique blend of technical proficiency and interpersonal skills to every task.
Having a long history of family mechanics, I take working on cars not only as a privilege, I take it as a passion and take pride in making sure things are done correctly with efficiency.
I value my teammates and value the relationships that I build, so that the workplace may thrive. I love to help my coworkers out with tasks they may not already have done if mine are done. I’m very consistent with organization and care of tools, and equipment whether mine or not.
I understand that a car isn’t just someone’s property, it’s someone’s livelihood that they depend on, and I treat the car as such. I’m very straightforward and descriptive to customers, helping them see whatever needs to be done on their car so that they can get to a salesman to get that order done. Which in turn creates trust between the shop, and customers.
I take a great pride in my job and I take great care to make sure it’s done correctly the first time. I’m very accountable for everything I do.
I joined Big O Tires in March 2024.
Here I was able to master and hone basic tire service, and became very good and efficient at new tire orders, flat repairs, rebalancing, rotations, and many more. Within four weeks of being employed at Big O, I was already instructing and training new hires. I built a very good relationship with my coworkers and admin and maintained effective communication and teamwork.
The day I turned 16, I went in and got a job loading bales of hay.
My job was to load hay bales, animal feed and tack. I learned how to interact and be helpful to customers, how to help with questions and build good relationships with the store and its customers. I was also working longer hours, and became very good at my stamina and could get 20-50 bales done very quickly.
I joined discount in may of 2023.
Here I did basic tire service such as mount and dismounting, repairs, rebalancing, air checks, lug nut torque, and other necessary parts of tire service. It was short lived, as there was a lack of mentorship and teamwork between management and the technicians.
