Wyatt Helmer

Young engineer with over 5 years of engineering and design experience and a student at Grand Rapids Community College. Has worked on many different projects with varying constraints, including designing bent sheet metal parts for logistics center chutes, producing precise plastic prototypes, and revising designs and models for manufacturing cost-savings. During the STEM Course at the Montcalm Area Career Center, designed an electric cart in Autodesk Inventor and the design was chosen by fellow classmates. Tasked to manage 1 of 4 teams from MACC to fabricate an electric car that was raced for the 2018 National Electric Cart Association Race, Ranking 3rd with 0 mechanical failures. Currently works at Disegnarlo, offering remote design engineering, detail drafting, and product engineering support for the company's clients. Always looking to expand horizons beyond just product and mechanical engineering, and excited to develop new skills of any kind.
