My name is Xavi Burde, I'm 5'9", African American, have 5 siblings, with me being the youngest, and I have an absolute passion for drama. I was never exposed to the drama department until my school's director, Ian Anthony Coleman, encouraged me to audition for the spring musical. I landed my first role and have fallen in love ever since, and I don't plan on stopping. I want people to find their first love, and I truly believe theater is where it all starts. The friends, the memory, the sadness of closing night, etc. It brings me joy and emotion to watch a performance, but knowing I can be one and give people that same feeling is a gift in itself.
