The GZEP/MBSYEP summer worker will participate in workshops where they learn about invasive species that occupy the parks.
Summer workers will examine water samples from the Anacostia River and compare the PH Levels to other sources of water. Summer workers will learn about life & urban sustainability as it relates to air & water quality, green architecture & design, and personal community environmental awareness during their tenure of work.
Summer Workers will learn how to utilize their entire self-connection in relation to their environment to enrich their lives. Summer Workers will gain essential tools for transitioning from adolescence to adulthood
