University of Houston, MIS 4374: IT Project Management - Executive Service Corps of Houston IT Project

• As part of my IT Project Management course at the University of Houston, I led a Four-person team in partnership with the Executive Service Corps of Houston to identify and resolve technical issues within a nonprofit’s website. I coordinated team efforts, delegated tasks based on individual strengths, and ensured we stayed on track with tight deadlines. Our work involved conducting a comprehensive UX audit, analyzing the site’s navigation and content layout, and proposing six actionable solutions to improve functionality and user engagement—particularly for mobile users. I also created a detailed user guide and four instructional videos to support staff onboarding and ease the transition to the updated platform. Throughout the project, I applied skills in project coordination, user experience design, and technical documentation, leveraging tools such as Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop to deliver a professional and scalable solution.
