• Empowher is an organization that I am a part of which is a second hand of help for girls of color
• In this program I have learned to try new things such as going out of my comfort zone and being a part of a community
• In this program I also have an assigned mentor who has helped me make connections to the world and participate in summer programs
• Economics For Leadership week long Summer Program, intended at Cornell University but switched to online
• In this summer program, I had the opportunity to learn the foundation of Economics to broaden my spectrum of knowledge
• This online class was meant to be on campus but Covid restrictions prevented that, therefore the class was moved online where I was able to work with other seniors to understand and work on economic problems we face in our daily life before producing a suitable solution to it.

• Analyzed problems and worked with teams to develop solutions.
• Sorted and organized files, spreadsheets, and reports.
• Participated in workshops and presentations related to projects to gain knowledge.
• Interacted with customers by phone, email, or in-person to provide information.
• Prepared and reviewed contracts and other legal documents following applicable regulations.
• Interpreted laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses.
• Gathered evidence to formulate defense or initiate legal actions.
• Directed and supported staff with business registrations and other legal requirements.

• A group of girls from Mexican descent have come together to create the university's first student association for Mexican students
• As secretary, my duties are to reach out to students, organize meetings and work closely with our advisor to create a schedule that will allow the university to understand and be a part of the Mexican community on campus, educating and creating a safe environment for students.

• Worked with 35 children of varying age, interest, skill, and developmental levels.
• Led groups of children safely through variety of camp activities.
• Collaborated with other camp counselors to design fun and enriching learning activities for campers.
• Instructed campers to observe proper behavior and etiquette to avoid conflicts and unruly activities.
• Implemented rules and regulations to enforce discipline and compliance.
• Documented activities, injuries and accidents to inform parents and maintain consistent records.
• Assisted with maintenance and upkeep of campgrounds to promote clean environment.
• Responded to emergency situations by following first-aid guidelines and coordinating with medical personnel for participants requiring medical attention.

• Trained and prepared voice, using various melodies and ranges such as soprano, tenor, alto and bass.
• Applied knowledge of harmony, melody, rhythm and voice production to individualize presentations and maintain audience interest.
• Participated in religious ceremonies and events.

• Facilitated worship services, encouraging participation from congregation.

• Worked on customer support and online orders
• Greeted customers entering store and responded promptly to customer needs.
• Operated cash register for cash, check, and credit card transactions with excellent accuracy levels.
• Worked flexible schedule and extra shifts to meet business needs.
• Restocked and organized merchandise in front lanes.
• Worked closely with shift manager to solve problems and handle customer concerns.
• Worked with floor team and managers to meet wide range of customer needs.
• Maintained current knowledge of store promotions and highlighted sales to customers.

• This was a marketing program where I learned how to give a formal presentation and learn analytical skills while working with professionals who work in this industry
• Designed and executed 10 minute presentation for the CEO of the company that included problem solving such as promoting a brand on social media with a low following and boosting up its stance and popularity to millions.

• The environmental club was founded by myself my Junior year of high school
• Established relationships with club members and maintained positive club standing with trustworthy actions and professionalism.
• Organized special activities and events for existing club members, including service projects, parties and procedural meetings.
• Partnered closely with club officers to develop successful strategies promoting club growth.
• Managed club budget and tracked fee collection, financial documentation and funds allocation.
• In this club I organized a bake sale, and a collection of plastic bottles to raise funds for the Amazon fires and for the Ocean Conservancy group
• Afterwards, we worked towards recycling bottles to fund more recycle bins throughout the school
• We also gave a presentation for the rest of the student body encouraging them to act and advocate towards change in our cities.
• Organized and led monthly meetings for club.
• Monitored club activities and identified areas for improvement.

• The position of being a kindness captain encouraged me to spread the word of how much actions and words affect people
• I worked in organizing kindness events that helped spread positivity such as writing notes and leaving them on lockers to brighten someone’s day
• It taught me how to be patient and very organized because of how much work there was and if I hadn't been organized then I would have not been able to do the events as successfully.
