As a current Graduate Student, graduating in December 2024 with a M.S. in Medical Laboratory Sciences, I am pursuing a full-time role as a Laboratory Technician. I plan to obtain my ASCP certification within the next 6 months. While interning at a physician-operated pathology practice, I sharpened my lab techniques and data interpretation skills. Working alongside professionals provided me with the opportunity to receive insightful hands on experience. Complying with the directions of others, I helped maintain an organized environment and learned how to operate and maintain automated machinery. I am ready to use and develop critical thinking and laboratory skills in the Clinical Laboratory Technician role.
