Yanna Koudriashova

I am very focused and dedicated to the goals I need to achieve. I am accustomed to working through challenging tasks and material and I adapt quickly to a new environment, especially when working with my colleagues as a team. Further, I am open to new experiences and I am dynamic in my problem-solving skills. I have research and clinical experience in addition to my education and internship experience in the criminal justice field.

• Work experience at Laboratory of Cognitive Neurobiology, Eichenbaum Labs, Psychological and Brain Sciences department. The focus was on the role of the entorhinal and retrosplenial cortex in memory operated navigational tasks. Lab tasks included: training and handling of rats and mice, assembling neural electrode devices, surgical procedures, histological procedures, teamwork and collaboration with the research team. In addition, completed a directed study research paper under the mentorship of Professor Caldwell-Harris. The paper focus was: the role of foreign language in mediation of positive symptoms of schizophrenia.
