As a Team Member within McAlister’s Deli, you acknowledge the integral role and service you provide to your fellow Team Members and the customer base you provide an eager service to. Daily tasks included communication amongst the team and customers, sanitation and cleanliness, lifting heavy items, on-time completion of tasks, on-time and cautious handling & preparation of food, and offering assistance whenever and wherever. I was adamant about playing a role in maintaining a stress-free and efficient kitchen and thus offered to help my teammates in completing orders with proficiency and insisted on tending to available closing tasks on days where I wouldn’t be on the closing team. Whether I was scheduled in the kitchen or in dishwashing, I saw that lending a helping hand kept our team relaxed, on-time, communicative, and strengthened our will to deliver exceptional service to our crew and anybody stepping into the restaurant, guaranteeing that they’d step out with a smile on their face and a positive outlook on their experience at the deli.
As a Freelance artist, I was able to manage multiple projects while keeping an eye on details that would further the quality of each piece I created. I had to keep consistent communication with clients and made sure to keep each client aware of the progress of their commission and asked questions regarding their vision on the work to ensure I was providing a finished product that would meet their desired expectations.
