PGY-1 year: I saw 8 patients in an inpatient internal medicine ward setting, and I rotated through cardiology, GI, ICU (2 months), and neurology rotations. Acquired good clinical skills, patient interaction skills, and mastered some procedural skills.
PGY-2 - Saw 18 patients on any given day in the internal medicine ward while supervising PGY-1 residents and rotating through nephrology, cardiology, interventional radiology, rheumatology, and ICU (2 months). I did night shifts and saw 5-6 new patients every day for a 4-week block.
PGY-3 - Saw 18 to 20 patients on internal medicine wards on any given day and rotated through cardiology, heme-oncology, and ICU, as well as night shifts during this year.
