The Madison VA has been and continues to be a valuable part of health professions training. Our recent training satisfaction survey indicated that 94% of health professions trainees felt strongly that they had a positive training experience here. We have many people in our Designated Education Officer (DEO) department and in the Clinical Services who are vital to supporting our health professions trainees in areas such as service agreements, reimbursements, allocations, and onboarding as well as ensuring education records and reconciliation reports are complete and accurate, and providing valuable information and oversight. Thank you to Lena Kamyshnikov for all your work in ensuring the success of this program.
Congratulations to our multi-departmental Graduate Medical Education (GME) onboarding team of Yelena Kamyshnikov. The season went extremely well and allowed many trainees to begin delivering Veteran care on time! The team’s efforts have received numerous positive comments from trainees and the UW programs. Great job!
