Summary
I recently took early retirement from SLB with the intent to pursue a part-time as a completion engineering consultant having worked for over 29 years with SLB. Prior to my departure from SLB, I was the Shell Frio/Perdido Completion Technical Project Manager for SLB (Schlumberger) Completions, North America GoA (Gulf of America) offshore, based in Houston, Texas. My post-university graduation oil and gas industry work experience includes 4 years oil service industry working with Baker Oil Tools Nigeria Limited. My work experience with SLB includes both national and international assignment. My areas of specialization include but not limited to, the design and applications of Well Completions and, Upper and Lower completion production systems (on- and offshore deepwater) design and analysis, selection and optimized design for completions equipment packers, tools and accessories for vertical, deviated and horizontal wells at Onshore, Swamp, and Offshore and Deepwater locations. - And Torque and drag stimulations for downhole tools system. I was also responsible for job preparation and field coordination of Sandface completions operations.
- Key achievements include the installation of the first Schlumberger ALLPAC
- - alternate path techniques for sand control in Openhole horizontal wells for Chevron, Cabinda, in West Africa and successful installation of Schlumberger Single Trip Gravel Pack Completion System “PERFPAC
- SYSTEMS” perforate and sand control gravel pack in one trip in 5,000ft of waters (Deep Offshore), Pointe Noire- Congo, and shallow water, Douala, Cameroon.

- At the well site, I continued my training on sand calculation, gravel pack calculation, gravel pack tool run to set packer, test packer and pressure test packer integrity, release service tool and position tool for gravel packing. Also responsible for accurate and prompt well site data gathering such as tubing tally, space out tubing on paper before running completion.As trainee field Engineer, I was exposed to hands on training at the sand control tool workshop, disassembling, washing and assembling of sand control/gravel pack service tools. I also trained in disassembling and servicing of retrievable packers.
