Summary
Ever since I was a little girl, my dream was to help children and youth. I have always dreamed of opening a leadership institute for at risk youth. Whether as a teacher, a counselor, or just a trusted friend, I still dream of helping kids and families in my community. I have been most recently involved in volunteering fo assist the youth director at Crearte Latino in the theater and musical shows. I have been a PTO member, volunteer, chaperone, and teacher assistant in my childrens' classrooms for the last 7 years. I was inspired to open my own daycare and went through the licensing process until my first child was born, and then my second. That put a wrinkle in that plan, but I was fully prepared to open up. I was an assistant for all three of my children in their Mommy and Me classes, and even assisted in the classroom up until my oldest went to kindergarten.
