Was hired at current position as sales rep. but slowly took over the buyer's position, plus kept the sales, after a while I also took over the receiving dept. Meanwhile also kept all little duties that needed to be done but use to fall thru the cracks. Experienced logistics professional prepared for Receiving Department Manager role. Adept at managing inventory, overseeing receiving processes, and ensuring efficient workflow. Strong focus on team collaboration and achieving results, reliable and adaptable to changing needs. Skilled in vendor communication, problem-solving, and optimizing warehouse operations.
Communication is the key, being the buyer meant to communicate with over 50 vendors, from some of them I purchased over 200K in goods annually. Besides that, I needed to be the communicator with the sales team, to take care of damages, I needed to negotiate on prices, and to find new vendors if needed.
In addition i needed to communicate with multiple departments lake the online team, phone team, billing team, delivery team, whorehouse team, and executive team.
Regarding the handy stuff i basically did everything from outside sales, to schedule planning, getting equipment/material/, executing to customer perfection.
