  • The process was to call and verify provider demographics.
  • Once demographics were verified, a letter would be generated with a fax that included member name, location and HEDIS measure.
  • The providers had 7 days to respond.
  • If they didn't, another letter was sent with an extension offer and new deadline data.
  • Logs for activities were kept in an excel sheet.
  • Once medical records were received, information was sent to auditors for review.
