I. Strategic Leadership & Planning:
- System Architecture & Design: Oversee the architecture and design of integrated IT and systems, ensuring scalability, security, and interoperability across various departments(Admissions, Recruitment, Marketing).
- IT/System Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership and departments to define and execute the IT roadmap that aligns with NYFA's overall strategic goals, particularly around recruitment, admissions, marketing and academic operations.
- Technology Evaluation & Adoption: Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and systems (including cloud-based solutions, AI, and automation) that can enhance the school’s operational efficiency, student experience, and recruitment effectiveness.
- Budget Management: Develop, manage, and monitor the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal allocation of resources for technology initiatives, licenses, and staffing.
- Vendor Management & Contract Negotiation: Manage relationships with key technology vendors (e.g., Salesforce, TargetX, other recruitment system providers), negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
II. System Management & Optimization:
- Implementation & Development: Lead the Implementation, configuration, customization, and ongoing development of these platforms to meet business needs.
- Data Management & Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, security, and integrity of data within recruitment systems.
- Integration: Develop the integration of recruitment systems with other institutional systems (e.g., SIS, Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CampusIvy, Google workspace, and Zoom etc).
- Reporting: Create reporting and analytics capabilities within these systems to provide insights into recruitment funnels, conversion rates, and student engagement.
- Enterprise Systems Oversight: Beyond recruitment, manage and optimize other critical enterprise systems.
- Data Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce data security protocols and ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., FERPA, GDPR).
III. Operations & Support:
- IT/Systems Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations, including IT support activities, on-going project development and management.
- Support & Training: Ensure high-quality technical support for applicants, students, faculty and staff.
IV. Team Leadership & Development:
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals (e.g., system administrators, developers, support specialists).
- Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate team resources to projects and daily operations.
V. Collaboration & Communication:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (Admissions, Marketing, Academics, Finance) to understand their technology needs and deliver solutions that support their objectives.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate IT strategies, project status, and system changes effectively to all stakeholders, including executive leadership.
