As a member of SAGAFTRA and Actors Equity Association, I relish the creative process. The ideal work environment would facilitate continued professional theatre/film projects, while fostering the creative talents of students actively engaged in the Arts. In this position, I would nurture growth, exploration, and collaboration. Varied professional experiences have empowered me to adapt in any setting resulting in outstanding reviews from my Department chairs, colleagues, and former students.
As a trained professional with strong experience in traditional and modern approaches to the teaching arts, creating stimulating lessons for all levels of students, valuing collaboration and committed to fostering an environment that encourages students to think critically and expressively is where I excel.
The American Black film Festival (ABFF) invited me to teach the masterclass, "Act It Out : Scene Exploration" for two consecutive summers on Miami Beach Florida.
The class was designed to give actors the tools they need to make choices that help them be empowered in the casting process. Affording actors to make strongest choices possible in audition leads to better preparation for the roles they will be cast in later.
