  • Designed and interpreted A trailer design that attaches to the bicycle for hauling pets and/or equipment.
  • Created a 3D Model design using SOLIDWORKS from a 2D drawing
  • After creating the first prototype, the design's turning point wasn't as desired. To fix the issue we changed the placement of the wheels. The initial design had wheels parallel and equal to each other which gave us trouble when trying to maneuver the bike, to fix this issue we decided to place one of the wheels at the end pf the trailer whilst the other towards the middle of the trailer (4.5 inches to be exact). By changing the placement of the wheel it gave us freedom of turning by using the maximum turning point of the bike.
  • Tested prototypes and standard products and wrote reports to document results
  • Maintained positive work atmosphere by building relationship with the CEO of JackeRabbit, the team, and the co-founder of the company as well.
  • Developed, prepared and reviewed reports and studies to identify and recommend engineering solutions
  • Determined causes of component failure and performed necessary maintenance
  • Responded to technical concerns quickly and effectively devised solutions
