Deployment to Afghanistan 2012-2013

• Deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, conducted security operations and responsive to threats from insurgent threats. My duties as a crewman are as follows:
• Performed regular foot patrols and supervised surveillance equipment used to monitor the activities in the town of Janat.
• Provided informational assistance to reassure the presence and safe guarding residence from insurgents.
• Operated and maintained the following vehicles: -ICV (Infantry Carrier Vehicle) -M1128 MGS- Stryker Mobile Gun System -HMMWV
• Awarded the CAB (Combat Action Badge) in 2012
