• This position is responsible for financial, operational and clinical oversight of multiple Vascular Access Centers (VACs) across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), as well coordinating all VAC clinical services and operations
• Additionally, this position coordinates the implementation of the following Vascular Access models: VACs, Mobile VA, and Outsourced VA programs
• Working bedside with mobile team as a scrub nurse for surgical and interventional procedures.

I served as Charge Nurse at DaVita KSA's Vascular Access Center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from April 2014, and later assumed the role of Acting Head Nurse. This pioneering center, the first free-standing dialysis vascular center in KSA, cares for over 800 patients from Jeddah, Makkah, Taif, and Medina. My responsibilities encompassed clinical, administrative, and financial management aspects.

Clinically, I scrubbed in for endovascular cases, leveraging my interventional neuroradiology experience. Administratively, I oversaw staffing, financial management, record-keeping, and inventory updates, collaborating with the supply chain department and local vendors.

I played a key role in the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) project, contributing to reduced no-show times, improved patient adherence, and enhanced pre- and post-procedure follow-up. I also participated in patient education programs, working closely with physicians, nurses, and social workers across units.

Additionally, I prepared and submitted monthly Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) reports, maintained complication and success rate records, and ensured compliance with all required safety regulations for the clinic.

As a nurse in the Radiology Department, my responsibilities include providing patient care, phlebotomy support, setting up IV lines and cannulas, inserting urinary and rectal catheters, monitoring vital signs, and responding to medical emergencies. I also prepare patients for diagnostic exams like CT, MRI, PET-CT, and Nuclear Medicine.

In my primary role as Interventional Scrub Nurse at the Interventional Neurovascular Suite, I prepare equipment for vascular and non-vascular procedures using fluoroscopic guidance and a bi-plane flat panel Angio-system. This includes setting up guide wires, procedure needles, catheters, balloons, stents, filters, and consumables.

My experience encompasses a range of procedures, including:

- Vascular procedures: Cerebral, Visceral, and Peripheral Angiograms and Angioplasty, Vascular Embolization, Aneurysm treatment, Central Venous Device insertion, PICC Line placement, Dialysis Catheter insertion, and more.
- Non-vascular procedures: Feeding tube placement, Nasogastric tube insertion, Epidural and nerve block injections, spinal injections for pain relief, Percutaneous Biliary drain placement, Nephrostomy placement, Percutaneous Needle Biopsy or Fine needle aspiration, and Paracentesis Tapping for Ascites/Pleural drainage with Ultrasound or CT scan guidance.
