• Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, showering, dressing, getting in and out of bed or a chair, walking, using the toilet, and eating
• Help maintain a safe environment of care
• Prepare patients for surgery
• Provide close observation for patients needing constant monitoring
• Patient transportation
• Assist with maintenance of equipment and supplies
• Perform various clerical tasks, include blood sugar check, EKG, bladder scan
• Take vital signs

• Responsible for patient care activities including, but not limited to: vital signs, ECG, patient ADLs, and patient transport.
• Responsible for and trained to use patient lift equipment
• Recognizes symptoms of common medical illnesses, abnormal vital signs (including pain) and immediately escalates to RN and/or provider.
• Documents vital signs and other patient information per policy
• Assists with procedures as directed
• Recognizes different types of isolation requirements and uses appropriate precautions.

• Acting as care giver to high acuity patients in a long/short term acute care hospital setting assist patients with daily activities such as grooming, bathing and feeding assist RNs with their duties, including administering patient vitals
• Perform infection control routines
• More complex duties performed under supervision of professional nursing personnel.

• Caregiver in memory care unit Toilet, dress and bath the residents
• Server food and feed some residents
• Take laundry and clean the dining room.
