
Dedicated General Maintenance Mechanic with extensive experience at Eastman Chemical Company TXO, specializing in equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Proven ability to enhance operational efficiency through effective problem-solving and teamwork. Skilled in hydraulic systems and committed to safety protocols, ensuring reliable machinery performance and minimal downtime. I was also a back-up planner/scheduler for 6 years. a coordinator on the T/A's for several years and present. I was a Safety Coach for the last four years until it was cut due to cost savings. During that four years my duties were(working with the Safety Contractor Council Site Mangers, Team Managers, Work Force Safety Committee, HSE, I was a Facilatator as well. My responsibilities were facilitating the TSR, PSD, Team Managers Meetings, The BBS Conference each year, I did the registration for the conference, the Safety Jeopardy Game as well as the Managers Roundtable for the conference. My other duties included entering information into the Mysafety database system, Metrics for the graphs on safety to present in the meeting, PPT, Excel, Word, Spreadsheets and Microsoft Entering Safety and Health Concerns into the system, Near Misses and gathering the information to ensure that they were properly address, observations with the Team/Area/Department Managers and Contractors Managers in the field. I have a very good relationship with our Contractors both in and outside of the plant. I was also sent to TNO during the Glycol incident for a couple of weeks to observe and work alongside Jeffrey White Parker Street, Wayne Mooreland, Rodger Goodfrey, Harold Horn and many others at TNO. I had the pleasure of working with Al Gourley as well in the Safety and Audits performed here at the TXO site.
