• PreOp/PACU RN position RN
• Handling admissions intake, pre op phone calls the day before surgery in preparation for the procedure. Assessment, preparation, and premeditation of the Pre-Op patient. Obtain necessary EKGs/Xrays/Labs to chart. Prepare patient for surgery, shaving, marking, preparatory medication administration, IV placement.
• PACU position includes providing detailed monitoring with utilization of cardiac and respiratory monitors, oral airway management, Phase 1-Phase2. Administration of pain medication, Temperature regulation, and adequate stabilization after general anesthesia.
• Administration of conscious sedation under physician supervision. Assist with pain nerve block administration under physician guidance.
