Hi, I’m

Zachary Burk

Cincinnati,OH
Zachary Burk

Summary

I like to think of myself as a Seasoned Store Manager specializing in management of retail environment. Polished professional skilled at training employees on exceptional customer service etiquette and sales techniques. Gifted in overseeing all facets of customer-facing and back-end operations. I spent over 12 years working towards the purchase of Victoriana Antique & Fine Jewelry, but was forced to change paths and have since relocated to Cincinnati Ohio, and Victoriana has closed its doors.

My passion in life is antiquity and the stories therein, as well as the botanical realm and preservation of plant life on a whole, but specifically that of those used to relay a story or sentiment found their any particular plants history in culture and society. My current aim is to redirect my life towards a more sustainable practice of being able to do what I love, which is to give the narrative of a genre or specific item's histories, but rather than being driven by that of fine-jewelry and the minerals contained, instead with plant life, however that manifests itself.

Avid Gardener and Flower Expert

Avid Gardener and Flower Expert

Throughout my life I have had a passion and obsession with growing plants. It started at the age of 5, during long summer vacations to my family's farm in Iowa, and has continued throughout my adulthood. Now, at the age of 41, and a career in the creative and sales realms, it is my hope to be able to turn this "hobby" into a more integrated aspect of my career path heading forward.

I have grown everything from petunias to rare orchids, beans to artichokes. My passion lies in the cutflower growing realm, and I hope to one day own my own small-scale cut-flower farm.
