  • Contributed to the senior capstone short film project that won the Best Picture Award at Utah Valley University, and has been selected for the Utah International Film Festival, it's titled "Animal," directed by Ethan Hawkins.
  • I handled numerous tasks such as setting up c-stands, combo stands, mombo combo stands, and lighting equipment. I utilized Quasar lights, infinibars, Arri panel lights, 5K tungsten lights, aputure 300/600c lights, and bulbs.
  • I built and maintained camera rigs and equipment to align with filming needs, utilizing the Red Raptor cinema camera, also conducting lens swaps and aperture adjustments.
  • I enhanced on-set efficiency by maintaining and organizing grip equipment for timely accessibility. I also coordinated with the gaffers and camera crew to determine scene lighting and camera placement.
  • I ensured safety of cast and crew by rigging lights, stands, and other equipment securely.
  • I promoted a positive working atmosphere by maintaining a professional attitude while collaborating with diverse personalities on set and being social and friendly.

  • I learned the importance of being patient and staying ready, as the pace on a hot set can shift from very slow preparation, to extremely quick execution in a moment.

  • Even though my role was small, it gave me a big-picture understanding of how every person contributes to the final product of a film shoot, and also helped me get considerably more comfortable on bigger sets.

  • I'm passionate about exercise, film, and also cultures I love meeting new people and hearing new perspectives, and delving into their cultures and ideology because it gets me out of my comfort zone and promotes self growth
