We were building a diversion levee in Fargo at the time. I started out on a pan and tractor and 3 weeks later I got moved to a catD6 where I was the only on top handling all 9 tractors every day putting each lift on. The other dozers were doing swells and other while I was doing slopes and the initial lift 90% of the time. I would go in at a foot and or 12in, sometimes 3/4s or 7.75in depending on the compaction of the previous lift. Went 128 passed tests in a row. Called for the water trucks when I felt like the moisture was leaving and made sure the disk was blending it in before we would walk it in with tractors following the finishing grade, if not dead on, being around a tenth of desired grade after desired compaction was over. Moved anywhere from 13k yards of dirt to 17k yards of a dirt a day.
