• I started working for my ASE Master Certified technician father at the age of 13 over the summers learning how to be a automotive service technician
• At 17 I finished school and started working full time as a service technician at a local independent shop
• I moved to nashville at 18 and got a job at a Chrysler dealership as a service tech, trained and work full time for a year
• I moved back to Salem and worked helping to run a local fast lube, writing tickets, cashiering, and working in the fast lube.
• In 2003 I started a job at Al West Chrysler Dodge and Jeep as a service technician and became a Chrysler Master Certified technician with training and on the job performance.
• In 2008 I left the automotive industry and took a job at Doe run as a miner, I worked there for 8 months before being laid off for a down turn in the economy
• after that I moved my family to the nashville area for a position at The Cleaners Depot in Nashville working on truck mount carpet cleaners, flood restoration equipment, dehumidifiers, fans, and power washers. I worked and learned for one of the best mechanics in the industry.
• In 2011 we moved back to Salem Mo to take a job at Doe Run again I started out as a miner for a few years running heavy equipment under ground, after that I transferred into the maintenance department as a mechanic worked for a year before taking a working sub boss position for 5 years, I managed a crew of 6 mechanics prioritized, tracked work orders and parts while still working on equipment.
• In 2021 i took a position with Royal Canin Rolla Mo. as a maintenance technician working on everything from boilers, air compressors, baggers, palletizers, to vfd's, logic systems and electrical diagnostics. I do PM's, breakdowns, work orders, parts tracking, BDA's. I have been involved in some upgrading systems with the AMT's to be more robust and cost efficient. As of April 18th the Royal Canin Rolla plant will be shutting down, so I am looking for my new forever home.
