Dedicated professional with strong customer service and time management skills. Experienced in diverse roles, effectively addressing guest needs and operational tasks. Committed to enhancing guest experiences and contributing to team success.
I assist in the day-to-day operations of running the campus. This includes working in food service, retail, and landscaping. Food service involves anything from serving the meals to cleaning the dishes. The retail side could be anything from selling merchandise to making beverages for guests on campus. In addition, the landscaping side involves weed eating, trimming bushes, and mowing grass. I also set up meeting spaces for different groups that attend various conferences, alongside any other tasks that I am assigned.
In the guest services position, the main part of the job was to hold a radio and answer any calls involving the needs of guests on campus. The simpler calls consisted of delivering toilet paper, paper towels, linen, and other supplies to guests. Other calls consisted of electrical, plumbing, and A/C issues. In those cases, I was assisted by a member of the staff on maintenance. In rare cases, I would respond to injured people on the grounds. The protocol in those situations was to fill out an accident form and inform them of local medical facilities. Lastly, it was also one of my duties to check in groups at the beginning of the week, as well as check them out at the end of the week.
At Chick-fil-A, I worked up front. I started as a team member, where I was trained in all the positions. This consisted of taking orders inside the store and outside in the drive-thru. As well as bagging the food, making drinks, delivering the food, and overseeing the dining room. I was later promoted to a trainer. This added the responsibility of training the new staff and being an example of how to do the job well. For the last year of my employment, I was an assistant lead. This added the responsibility of leading the shifts, counting the cash drawers, and attending meetings with management on how to better run the store.
In the warehouse position, it was my job to unload trucks that arrived on campus, and bring the boxes to where they belonged in the warehouse. I would also move inventory from the warehouse to the cafeteria. In addition, I would deliver clean linen to all the guest housing on campus, as well as receive the dirty linen and bring it to the laundry room to be washed. The warehouse also oversaw all of the vending machines on the grounds. I would go around to each one, evaluate what needed to be stocked, and refill them with beverages.
