At 18 I got my cdl and began driving and later working for American as a mechanic. Work History

Owner Operator

Bezner Trucking Llc
Clarendon,tx
07.2018 - Current

In 2018 I decided to pursue a dream I’ve had since I was a kid in owning my own truck. In 2018 I bought my fist truck which was a 2013 kenworth t660 with a 535 paccar motor backed by a 13 speed and a set of 3:36 rearends. And set off hauling feed ingredients to dairy’s all around and later set my sights on a older truck to keep from having to use an eld (electronic logging devise) so I bought a 1999 Peterbilt 379 in 2020 and I’ve built it into what is my dream truck today I continue to haul feed Ingredients and pretty much anything that pays good. I haul cotton seed for Bayer crop science in Lubbock and every year I go to Nebraska and haul corn for pioneer seed out of the field up there processsing facility. I’m very self motivated no matter what it is if it’s digging a ditch or operating equipment I have a very posative attitude I show up on time I have a great work ethic but with everything going up in prices it’s hard to make it with owning your own truck the cost of operating is incredibly large considering the return. I’m willing to learn anything and listen I’m from the last generation of people that don’t think they know everything. I believe a man should learn something everyday it may not be something huge everyday but you should learn something everyday.

Farm Manager

Hodges Stock Farm
White Deer, TX
08.2010 - 07.2018

This was a great job I worked on this small family farm that has been farming in the Texas panhandle for over 100 years. Here we did everything!! And by everything I mean everything! Farming always came first so when there was that to do it came first whether it was plowing summerfalllow ground or planting next years crop or harvesting this years crop or things as small as re nozzleing sprinklers building hot wire fence to keep the cattle in or maintaining equipment. But when things where slow we did anything I think we built 3 barns while I was there and added onto one and when I say build I mean the only thing we didn’t do was the concrrete work everything else was done by us including electrical, plumbing, interior exterior trim,to building beams for the barns we did it all. One year we totally gutted a house and fixed it for his son. And I learned alot from these guys they where perfectionists and thought if you where gonna do anything you where gonna do it right. And instilled that in me so when I do something you can dang sure bet it’s done the right way. There’s no job a guy can’t do with the right tools. All the long hours and long weeks helped build me to who I am today.

Truck Driver

Venables Const.
Amarillo, TX
09.2009 - 08.2010

Here I drove a truck hauling dirt to job sites and concrete sites, hauling mostly from a pit in Channing to the concrete plant in dalhart it was fun but the work slowed down so I had to do something else.

Mechanic/ Fabricator

American Equipment and Trailer
Amarillo,Texas
11.2005 - 08.2009

This job I started with some of the stuff I had learned from working for Mike at veith bros. I started with a tool box no bigger than most people carry in there pickup a small craftsman toolbox with 3 drawers you could literally pick up with one hand and carry no more than a set of wrenches a socket set a few air tools and a set of screw drivers. I learned to aluminum weld with a spool gun and do other various tasks mostly grunt work when I first started doing all the greasy work most people didn’t want to do then quickly I was taught or self taught how to aluminum weld with a spool gun then I climbed the ladder until I was one of the highest paid mechanics there and was rebuilding wrecked trailers anything from trailers that where rear ended and needed minor repairs to trailers that had been payed on there side and had to replace entire sides of trailers peice by peice rivet by rivet this was a fast paced environment and was very rewarding seeing finished products roll out the door knowing you brought them back to life

Operator

Vieth Bros. Harvesting
Canyon, TX
05.2003 - 11.2005

This was my very first paying job I first started with Mike Vieth when I was 17 years old my junior year of high school we started harvest in Vernon,tx and finished summer harvest in Hardin,mt that year I ran equipment such as large tractors with grain carts, 9660 combines with 30ft wheat heads, and large and medium trucks. I grew up on a farm west of Amarillo in bushland so I’ve known work since the day I could walk. And I always wanted to go on harvest so me and a friend where lucky enough to have this opportunity at the age of 17 my dad always had old equipment so it was nice to have an a/c and a built in radio to listen to and it was an experience that built me and instilled the great work ethic I have today.
