Accomplishments

  • Helped stand up and establish the MCAS Miramar OSQRT team, as the first technician hired at the end of 2017. Assisted with setting up tools, establishing contractor NAMP qualifications that the Marine Corps would accept and developed daily maintenance plans with the team.
  • In 2018, worked on a five-man team through difficult maintenance and logistic issues, returning 10 long term down MV-22s to flight status. Along with the MCAS New River team's joint contribution, this exceeded the total fleet-wide contracted metric of 12 by 4 additional aircraft. Aircraft were being rebuilt and returned to flight after being down for an average of 339.4 days.
  • In 2019, worked on a seven-man team returning 32 long term aircraft to flight status. Along with MCAS New River team's joint contribution, this exceeded the fleet-wide metric of 15 aircraft by 17 additional aircraft. Aircraft were being rebuilt and returned to flight after being down for an average of 161.1 days.
