My name is Zachary Jenks and I am in 21 years old. I have lived in Hampshire County my whole life where I have resided in Belchertown, Massachusetts. I graduated from Belchertown High School in 2020. Since then I've been employed at the Hampshire County Sheriff's Office as a Correctional Officer since January 3rd, 2023. I graduated the Correctional academy in November of 2023 where I graduated top of my class in academics as well as the 1.5 mile run. While employed at the Sheriff's Office, I have continued my education at Westfield State where I am pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with minors in Psychology and Sociology. I am looking to build on my Associate's Degree I received from Holyoke Community College in May of 2022 where I majored in Criminal Justice. Throughout my employment at the Sheriff's Office I have built up trust and respect from my supervisors and have maintained a perfect attendance which I plan to continue as I continue at the Sheriff's Office.
