I baby sat my special needs nephew for three months whilst his mother was working later shifts at her job. During this time I had to learn how to communicate and understand someone with special needs effectively further improving our relationship together. I provided him with everything he needed and wanted including feeding him, changing him, and doing some activities with him to keep him occupied.
