1 Year 7 Months- Hired on to Jordan Forest Products as the sawmill plant's senior maintenance manager over the electrical and instrumentation controls dept, mechanical dept, and mobile maintenance dept.
- My role upon hiring was to merge the electrical and mechanic team into one to prevent downtime and increase troubleshooting knowledge which led to a 13% decrease in downtime in production across the 100 acre saw mill plant.
- Managed a team of 5 supervisors across my dept and 37 technicians Monday thru Saturday day/night 12 hr shift work.
- Oversaw all maintenance on the 4 boilers for the kiln drying process for the wood and the installation of a waste water pit to be in compliance with the EPA.
- Led and oversaw the upgrade of Kiln/Boiler 4 into a PLC operated continuous kiln which allowed one kiln to be down for maintenance in rotation.
- Coordinated and planned with contractors from Porter in Canada in June 2023 and October 2023 to optimize our production equipment with a new state of the art scanner/telco eye assembly. This led us from 275,000 board feet a shift to roughly 415,000 a shift after the upgrade was completed leading in net profit of 35% in sales.
- Implemented a pm plan for our mobile maintenance dept that consisted of caterpillar heavy equipment, warehouse mobile equipment, Taylor 30 ton lifts, and our 150 ton Fulgrum log crane.
- Coordinated with a vendor to oversee training for all mobile equipment operations which led to a decrease in equipment damage and an increase in the operator's working knowledge of their equipment to increase run hours.
- On Sept 11 of 2023, I was given added responsibility of purchasing manager for the saw mill plant when Jordan Forest was bought out by Langdale Forest.
- Oversaw the construction and setup of the new 300,000 sq ft storeroom for purchasing and established new vendor relationships under the Langdale name. In this added role, me and my team was in charge of 7.2 million dollar inventory and we reduced spending cost by average 18% percent per month since completion of the storeroom upgrade in January 2024.

10 Months- Hired on to a newly formed 3rd shift as an overall shift supervisor. During my first 2 months I setup a training program to correct training issues and help build a better communication path between 1st and 3rd due to not having a 2nd shift workforce or leadership which led to 27% increase in work efficiency that allowed us to hit our ship dates early to our customers New York Science University and Brooklyn Navy in New York.
- Later promoted to 1st shift where I instruct and manage a team of roughly 50 wirers and 20 assembly mechanics in building emergency power switchgear units from the ground up for customers like the military, hospitals, banks, and internet providers such as Microsoft and Google.
- These million dollar switchgears comprise of PLC units, 400-4000 Amp breakers, numerous meters such as voltage, pf, amp, watt, synchroscope, etc. OIT interfaces, Control transformers, copper bus work, TVSS controls, protective relays, etc.
- Daily I meet with engineers and test technicians to address last minute customer design changes on units currently being built to ensure we meet our 30 day max ship dates and work with fabrication department and maintenance on parts that need to be made and engineered for the units. Also I work closely with test department and oversee the testing phase of each switchgear unit.

3 Years- Completed the apprenticeship program to become Hershey's first qualified technician.

- During the 2011 Persian Gulf deployment, hand selected to perform emergent work on the propulsion plants OCM/OWS, Oil Content Monitor/Oil Water Separator, due to detailed system knowledge and ability to perform maintenance under extreme circumstances quickly and efficiently. Time sensitive corrective maintenance accomplished correctly, or the ship could not pull into foreign ports and waterways for war efforts.
- Held responsibility for millions of dollars in government property while in the Navy and while working at Emerson Network Switchgear Power.
- Contributed to 15,000+ safe, error-free hours of maintenance through effective training/safe work practices. Actions played key role in personnel receiving the Navy's highest operational and safety award.
- Completed and supervised more than 1000+ preventive/corrective maintenance items and 500+ tagouts on turbine generators, diesel generators, motor controllers, pumps/motors, switchboards, frequency and voltage regulators, pump bearings, and various fans, compressors, & heaters while ensuring strict adherence to procedural compliance and safety.
