My first job was in kitting cleaning and organizing parts to send over to assembly when completed. After a little over a year, I got promoted to a P and H (Priess and Horstmann) operator where I oversaw 3 machines boring holes on the parts for screws, hinges, etc. It was my job to make sure the machines kept running and troubleshoot any problems I observed or in extreme cases call maintenance over. After about 7 months on those machines, I got promoted to a KFL operator. These machines used glue to put edgebands on parts after they were cut on the saw and before getting bored.

• Followed detailed instructions to operate machines with accuracy and produce quality products.
• Set up and adjusted equipment and properly configured machines for daily operation.
• Complied with company and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Trained new employees on proper machine operation, ensuring adherence to company standards and safety guidelines.

I worked here as a cook from when I turned 16 in high school and through my 1 year of college up until I ended up moving to Muscatine Iowa.

• Took food orders from cashiers and cooked items quickly to complete order items together and serve hot.
• Instructed new staff in proper food preparation, storage, use of kitchen equipment and sanitation.
• Supported kitchen staff training and development, leading to increased productivity and efficiency.
