Criminal Investigator (Special Agent)

  • Serve as a Criminal Investigator (Special Agent) responsible for conducting complex federal criminal investigations involving violent crime, firearms trafficking, gang activity, narcotics trafficking, organized crime, and other violations of federal law. Investigations routinely involve multi-jurisdictional criminal organizations operating across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
  • Upon appointment with ATF, I was assigned to the Waco Satellite Office and detailed to the Texas Anti-Gang Center. Conducted long-term investigations targeting violent offenders, armed gang members, firearms traffickers, and organized criminal enterprises. Utilized confidential informants, surveillance operations, search warrants, arrest warrants, undercover techniques, and intelligence-driven investigative strategies to identify, disrupt, and dismantle criminal organizations.
  • Prepared criminal complaints, search warrant affidavits, arrest warrant affidavits, subpoenas, investigative reports, intelligence products, and prosecutorial summaries. Coordinated investigative efforts with Assistant United States Attorneys, state prosecutors, federal agencies, state agencies, and local law enforcement partners to enhance case outcomes.
  • Conducted interviews and interrogations of suspects, witnesses, victims, and cooperating defendants. Managed confidential informants and sensitive investigative assets while ensuring compliance with Department of Justice and ATF policies to maintain integrity of investigations.
  • Successfully completed ATF Special Response Team Selection in 2025 and currently serve as a part-time operator assigned to ATF Special Response Team 3 (SRT-3). Participate in high-risk warrant service operations, fugitive apprehensions, tactical operations, and specialized law enforcement missions requiring advanced tactical training and operational planning.
  • In 2026, I was selected to establish and operate the College Station Satellite Office as the sole assigned Special Agent. Responsible for developing investigative initiatives throughout the Brazos Valley region, establishing relationships with partner agencies, identifying emerging criminal threats, and independently managing complex criminal investigations involving organized crime, violent offenders, firearms trafficking, and narcotics trafficking.
  • Collaborated with federal, state, and local agencies as a member of the Homeland Security Task Force on intelligence-driven investigations targeting transnational criminal organizations, contributing to enhanced public safety and threat mitigation.
  • Prepare and execute federal search warrants and arrest warrants.
  • Conduct surveillance operations and intelligence-gathering activities.
  • Manage confidential informants and cooperating witnesses.
  • Coordinate with prosecutors regarding criminal charges and prosecution strategies.
