  • I am assigned to CBP’s OPR Protective Operations Branch in Washington, D.C. In this capacity I am assigned to the security detail of the CBP Commissioner. My primary role is detail leader for the afternoon shift. In this role I handle the day-to-day management duties of the afternoon shift which include assigning each member a specific position, overseeing the safe and effective movement of the CBP Commissioner from one location to the next, and providing guidance and problem-solving skills with various issues which may arise within the detail.. I typically manage five to six detail members each shift. I maintained a TS/SCI clearance in this position.

  • In my position as a HSI Special Agent I lead numerous investigations into child sex crimes, fugitive investigations, intellectual property crimes, and was responsible for the seizure of millions of dollars recovered as part of an investigation into a drug trafficking organization. As part of my investigations I conducted interviews of witnesses, victims, and suspects. I secured search and seizure warrants to further my investigations. I organized and supervised the execution of arrest warrants on my targets in a safe and effective manner.
  • I served almost 18 months on the security detail of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director. In this capacity I facilitated all movements of the director both in the NCR and outside the NCR as the advance agent. One of my major duties was to ensure every site the ICE Director visited was safe for him to visit and construct operational plans which would be forwarded through my chain of command all the way to the Director's office for each trip he went on. Once the Director arrived at a location, I was in charge of every aspect of said visit. I maintained a TS/SCI clearance in this position.
