Zachary Snell

With whatever role I may encounter, I strive to be the best I can be, and cannot settle for average. I pride myself over my strong work ethic, adaptability, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the desire to continue to learn whether that be for personal or professional reasons. I possess a continuously growing understanding of experiential education and leadership to achieve organizational goals and help others and myself gain essential intrapersonal and technical skills. I'm optimistic about meeting new people with similar interests and motives as myself, and am enthusiastic about all things outdoor and music related.

• While working at Big Sky I earned a Lead lift operator role in which I was managing people and enforcing safe and knowledgeable operation of chair lifts, tow ropes, and magic carpets.
• Occupied an assistant leadership role in a 24 day canoe expedition across the Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness Area, helping four recent high school graduates travel approximately 220 miles and completing the Grand Portage to Lake Superior.
• Lived on a sailboat for 22 days on Lake Superior through Sea Change. Participated in creating and running programming with 4th-8th graders revolving around climate change and waste management, while also learning about sailing techniques and equipment.
