Accomplishments

  • While working at Big Sky I earned a Lead lift operator role in which I was managing people and enforcing safe and knowledgeable operation of chair lifts, tow ropes, and magic carpets.
  • Occupied an assistant leadership role in a 24 day canoe expedition across the Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness Area, helping four recent high school graduates travel approximately 220 miles and completing the Grand Portage to Lake Superior.
  • Lived on a sailboat for 22 days on Lake Superior through Sea Change. Participated in creating and running programming with 4th-8th graders revolving around climate change and waste management, while also learning about sailing techniques and equipment.
