I am enthusiastic about being an educator with a background in special education. I am known for my patience and compassion in the classroom, always putting the students well-being and education first. I have worked with students K-12, across general public education and alternative schools. I have passed my PLT for Elementary Special Education and will finish my WVTPA Fall 2026 to fully renew my WV teaching license.
As manager, I am expected to make sure that business operates smoothly between the front of the house and the kitchen. This would include making sure our customers get their orders in a timely fashion, without risking quality of the product.
During my time in Marion County, I would substitute teach across the county and times would fill in for full-time positions. One of these positions was at the Marion County Alternative Learning Center, where most of our students were higher risk and needed extra support to grow in the classroom.
As a track coach for Fairmont Senior High School, I was responsible for managing the team's paperwork, scheduling meets and practices, along with managing different areas across the team. This would include providing the correct training different athletes would need to succeed in their events. I would also be the main chaperone for meets, and would work with parents to ensure successful trips.
At this job I was expected to work with clients towards their fitness and health goals. I would tailor programs that best fit the client and make modifications as needed.
