Zach Taburaza is a saxophonist native to the San Fransisco Bay Area. He earned his Bachelors in Music Performance and Music Composition at California State University, Long Beach. While studying there, he performed in the University Saxophone Quartet, the saxophone ensemble, the Bob Cole Conservatory Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra, the New Music Ensemble, and many other smaller student groups. In terms of composition, Taburaza takes inspiration from pop and video game music, which results in an accessible sound. His compositions have been played by many student performers at the Bob Cole Conservatory. He is currently pursuing a MM in Saxophone Performance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Taburaza has studied under James Barrera and now studies under Dr. Shawna Pennock.
