  • Delivered Bring Your Own Hardware (BYOH) strategy for 1P apps on AWS Panorama and currently executing it through others
  • Designed and implemented through others solutions to decouple components, and add IoT shadow, local storage and data capture capabilities in the AWS Panorama EdgeML SDK
  • Tech lead for AWS Panorama device upgrade to Nvidia Jetpack 5.x with ownership of partition layout changes in OTA, application framework stack and the SDK
  • Designed and implemented parts of storage and cloud to device communication solution of a large re-architecture effort to move AWS Panorama from custom solution to AWS Greengrass
  • Technical lead for the device stack at AWS Panorama GA launch in 2022 with ownership of factory process, vendor trust zone (TEE) integrations, OTA, key rotation and security in the firmware
  • Debugged, characterized the problems and devised solutions for critical customer impacting bugs related to eMMC wearout, data partition corruption, and camera/network/cloud connectivity
  • Deep dived and resolved stability issues in multi tracker gstreamer pipelines with different camera brands that was critical for a major product release
  • Devised a solution to collect logs from the device securely when device loses cloud connectivity and goes in to an irrecoverable state.

  • Devised a proof of concept solution to make EC2 instance a panorama device by emulating security layer and a custom SDK compatible to run models on a G5G Tesla GPU/Cuda environment
  • Technical lead in bootstrapping AWS Taiwan team in porting AWS Panorama on Lenovo
  • Presented demo of AWS Panorama leveraging Amazon Lookout for Vision at Nvidia GTC 2021
  • Co-owned engagement metrics subsystem on fireos used for Prime Video usage analytics and delivered many feature enhancements and bug fixes
