ZaiJing Chen

I became interested in architecture because of my sister. My passion in architecture was stoked by her regular sharing of her design concepts and experiences with me as a recent architecture graduate. I explored this curiosity in high school by painting. By constructing situations and spatial arrangements, I was able to bring abstract ideas to life and had fun turning my ideas into reality. This helped me comprehend not only the elegance of architecture, but also how it serves utilitarian purposes.

I intend to pursue this topic further in my future studies by blending creativity and functionality. My family's motivation and extensive painting experience have given me a unique viewpoint on architecture, and I hope that this background will help me distinguish out on the path to architecture.
