Summary

With three summers of intensive experience in wildland firefighting with the Department of Natural Resources in Okanogan County, I have cultivated a deep commitment to this field and a strong connection to the Methow Valley. My recent role as an Engine Lead in Twisp has sharpened my leadership skills and logistical expertise, preparing me for advanced responsibilities in firefighting. I am passionate about continuing my career in this region and am driven by the goal of becoming a smokejumper at the North Cascade Smokejumper Base. My dedication to staying in the Methow Valley reflects both my personal attachment to the area and my professional aspiration to contribute meaningfully to wildfire management in this vital region.
